Iced Tea Plant: Camellia Sinensis Plant in Snow, Seattle
This photo shows a tea plant covered with a relatively heavy snow. The tea plant is a subtropical plant, not a fully tropical plant, and is able to survive snow and temperatures slightly below freezing just fine. It can die, however, if temperatures drop too low.
