Lemons, Whole and Sliced
Lemons are a frequent flavoring for tea; lemon juice or slices can be added to sliced tea. Sometimes people may add a few drops of lemon juice to water before brewing, if the water is too hard. Lemon zest can also be used as a whole ingredient in herbal teas, imparting the aromatic quality of the lemon and a bit of bitterness, without adding sourness from the citric acid.
