2007 MengYang Guoyan Youle Mountain Wild Arbor 400g Sheng Pu-erh
This is a fresh cake; it's 2007 production, but the photo was taken in 2008. The photographer remarked that it cost $11. The color of the leaves in this cake, which range through dark, dusty green-grays, through rich yellow greens and to brighter gray-green colors, shows that Sheng Pu-erh is essentially like a green tea. Over time, these cakes darken in color as they age.
