Impressive for a simple paper-wrapped tea bag.
Typical black tea aroma, not terribly complex. Mostly deep and malty, like an Assam, but with some of the tones characteristic of Ceylon. Slightly smoky. Significantly lighter than a pure Assam.
Surprisingly, this tea has a substantial savory or umami flavor. It almost tastes a bit salty as well. I can't say if I like this quality or not.
Very inexpensive. Not what I'd choose to drink every day, but it was worth trying and it was significantly better than I had expected.
