White teas can be very subtle, and by the time they are processed shipped, stored, blended and sprayed with flavorings, it would be hard for them to assert any flavor. That is a problem with most of Republic of Teas flavored whites, including this one that I received from a well meaning friend.

The aroma is very faint, and it could be orange. The color is definitely orange (how did they do that with no dyes listed on the label), and the flavor? Orange! There is no tea flavor at all, white or otherwise, and mostly what I taste is the cotton paper bags. I suppose if you sweeten this and forget that it is supposed to be tea, it is drinkable and maybe even enjoyable as an orange drink...
