This was an interesting tea; I find the idea of blending oolongs from Sri Lanka and India to be intriguing. The leaf is mostly larger pieces of broken-leaf tea, and has a mix of different colors, including mostly darker but some greenish leaf. It also includes jasmine petals, although they seemed possibly more ornamental.

Unfortunately, in the first infusion, the orange flavoring overpowers the base tea. The dominant flavor is orange peel, candy like, but muted, without the sweetness. It's slightly artificial but not as cloying as some flavored orange teas. The base tea does come through somewhat...there are tones of roast, and there is an overall rich body.

This tea holds its orange flavoring through multiple infusions, however. Although the leaf is broken, it can be steeped twice satisfactorily. I liked the second infusion better...the jasmine actually came out a bit, the orange was more subdued, and the base tea came through a bit. At least one of the base oolongs has some greener character, and some of the floral and herbaceous tones come through on this infusion.

Such an interesting idea for a tea, and I think relatively well-executed, although I would prefer less orange flavoring. Inexpensive, as well.
