I used to grow Tulsi on my windowsill, and missed the lemony fresh brew that the dried leaves used to make. It was always a soothing, calming sup of calmness that I looked forward to. I found these teabags of a blend of Tulsi at my local Whole Foods Supermarket, and have found them to be a worthy addition to my cupboard.

I brewed with 6 oz. boiling water for 5 minutes, enjoying the nice aroma, and was very pleased with the flavor. Definitely a pleasing cup with gentle spiciness hinting of basil, cloves, citrus and a bit of star anise. Amazing to get such interesting flavors in this calming brew. I am definitely going to have to try their other Tulsi teas.
