The aroma is very rich, rich and chocolaty with notes of malt and earthiness. It reminds me of tea mixed with milk chocolate. Once brewed there is more of a 'tea' aroma than chocolate. The liquid is richy earthy and ties the pu erh in nicely with the black tea and chocolate.
The taste is sweet and very robust. The chocolate is very pronounced and the tea is bright, earthy, and a bit astringent. It is a good morning tea, adding cream kinda makes it like chocolate milk mixed with tea.
