Wow. This is on par with the Da Hong Pao I tried from Life in Teacup.
I was hit with a rich blast of cocoa and hazelnut. It just smelled so good it's hard to describe. Made my mouth water in anticipation.
That first sip was heaven. A decadent balance of maltiness and cocoa undertones. It was sweet like honey, and had a velvety texture. There's a lot more going on too, I just don't know how to describe it other than amazing. I was really impressed with this tea! Will definitely be buying more, and I can't imagine needing a higher quality chinese red (black) tea than this.
