When I scanned the product bar code into My Fitness Pal, the MFP app returned Stash Organic breakfast blend black tea.

If it is Target's reselling/repackaging of the Stash's tea, it is a great deal at $3.49 for 20 bags.

It tastes very good.

Hello and welcome to RateTea, and thank you for sharing this juicy tidbit of information.

I find this fascinating. I wonder if this was an oversight on behalf of the people who did the rebranding?

I personally like when companies are open about when they are rebranding or selling private label tea from another company under a new brand, I think it can be a display of business confidence, but the norm is for companies to keep this information private. It makes sense especially in the case where one of the products is significantly more or less expensive. Interesting that these apps can possibly expose some of these business relationships?

Incidentally, I've tried Stash's organic breakfast and I didn't like it; I found it unpleasantly bitter. It could be that the tea bag I tried wasn't particularly fresh, but I actually preferred their normal teas.
