Like Okie, I found this tea at La Quinta in Sacramento. It was the only tea offering. I wasn't impressed, not much flavor or aroma. Certainly nothing I'd call malty about this. Maybe it was just old?

That's certainly possible. Hotel/food-service teas can sit around a long time somewhere on the distribution chain before being used. Since this one comes in a non-laminated, plain-paper wrapper, it probably ages fast anyway. Maybe I just got lucky with a fresher batch! :-)
