I’ve decided to try a few blends of matcha with other green tea and started with this brand. Given that I’ve never been overwhelmingly impressed with Celestial Seasonings, it was better than expected!

Though it cannot take the place of an actual matcha craving, the addition of matcha added a bit of sweetness and creaminess that makes this tea notably better than most cheap green tea bags. I could see this as a solid tea to keep at work as something quick but reliably satisfying. There was a hint of bitterness at the end, but it was really only in the dregs.

Finally, though the second cup wasn’t as complex and strong as the first, it held up much better than second steepings of this brand’s tea that I’ve tried before.

Thanks for posting this review. I've just started seeing this in a few stores, and have been considering trying this one, once I've burned through my near-freebie box of Uncle Lee's (cheap green tea bags).
