This is the only tea that people have tasted and asked me what brand it is, because they liked it so much. Even at work, where we had a big tea round where our staples were Yorkshire and Twinings, so the bar was set fairly high already. I am a big fan of Assam and Kenya teas. As one friend said to me, "it tastes like what tea is supposed to taste like". For me it is the right blend of maltiness and freshness. I suppose I would liken the freshness similar to that of Twinings Traditional Afternoon, but with a bit more body to it like a breakfast tea, maybe like Yorkshire. I've had a few cups of it this morning, which I thoroughly enjoyed and spurred me into writing a review.

I do prefer the loose leaf from this same brand; it seems to stay fresher. I also think that the loose tea has a certain lightness, like the rice-like tones in the aroma, absence in this one.
This is a strong English-style breakfast tea, true to the name, but not quite as interesting as some.
I find it does not do well when the water is not sufficiently close to boiling. Can be tannic if left to steep too long, although certainly not the worst in this respect--a lot of mainstream brands do become more bitter than this.
Although I thought the loose leaf of this brand was comparable to Yorkshire Tea, and had a pleasing lightness that Yorkshire did not, when it came to the tea bags, I preferred Yorkshire (which is similar in style).
