no smell with single unidentifiable taste like the last rater mentioned....not really a bad tea...just nothing good...needs help in the way of sugar and other additions

Yes, they still make Luzianne - the classic black tea used in countless pitchers of Southern Style sweet tea. I can even find it (bottom shelf) of my local supermarket in the Philadelphia area.
Very black - neutral scent and a flat, single note taste. Not complex - totally drinkable but bby no means a favorite.
Stands up well to lots of lemon and sugar or sweetener.

If you want a very basic tea, Luzianne delivers. I like it for a general black tea, or for making iced tea using hot tea bags. It provides consistent flavor that is as black tea should be, with nothing fancy.
You can find it on sale from time to time, but it's not too expensive normally. It is comparable to Lipton or Tetley.
