↑About Suffuse
Suffuse was a company specializing in rooibos, and founded in 2008 by Dr. George Allibone and his wife June. Suffuse sells both green and red rooibos, and also sells a few blends of rooibos with other herbs. Suffuse's rooibos and herbal blends are available both loose and in tea bags.
Suffuse is no longer in operation as of January 2014. The company's social media accounts have not been active since December 2011. We are not aware of the circumstances of the company's closure; they announced nothing on their website or social media accounts.

Red Rooibos Tea suffused with Sceletium Tortuosum

Surprisingly smooth; this blend definitely has a flavor and aroma distinctly different from straight rooibos, but because both the rooibos and sceletium have a mostly earthy character, it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins.
The aroma is very earthy and warming, and the flavor is exceptionally smooth....

Based on what I know of these two herbs, I would not like to consume this tea on a regular basis, but it was interesting to try. Thanks to Marlena for providing this one.
The aroma was rather strong and has many different components. Even though the blend is mostly Rooibos, the other herbs lend a very strong aroma...
