↑About Teeccino
Teeccino, a pun on tea and cappuccino, is a company that focuses on selling their own brand of herbal coffee alternative or coffee substitute. The company was founded by Caroline MacDougall and launched in 1995. MacDougall had previously worked for Republic of Tea, developing herbal teas.
Because they are brewed like tea bags, rather than like in coffee, we list Teeccino's coffee substitutes as herbal teas for review on our site.
Many of Teeccino's products are made from a large portion of organic ingredients, and some are fully organic-certified. The main ingredients used to achieve a coffee-like flavor are roasted carob, roasted barely, roasted chickory root, and roasted dandelion root. Many of the blends omit the barley (which contains gluten) so they can be gluten free.

I thought this was amazing! Everyone who knows me knows that I'm primarily a tea drinker, but I do like coffee now and then, especially in winter, when I drink it with milk or cream.
