The aroma of the tea is pretty pungent, it is one of the biggest downsides to Dong Quai, I have had it in pill form before and could smell its distinct sharp root and earthy aroma through the bottle. The aroma is a great blend of plant matter, mixing herbaceous notes, floral notes, and straw notes. The lavender and lemongrass is quite strong, a strange blend of smells, but not an unpleasant one.

The aroma is a great blend of papaya, mint, chamomile and sweetness. A great blend of herbs. Once the tea is brewed the leaves take on more of a lemongrass aroma with savory herb notes. The liquid also smells very savory and reminds me of pickle spices.

This tea smells really good, and when you are dealing with a medicinal tea that is always a good sign. So many of the Chinese medicinal teas I drink smell and taste really nasty. The aroma is a sweet, tropical, earthy, and clean. Once brewed it takes on a stronger rooibos aroma and is fairly creamy.
