The aroma is strong and smokey, it reminds me of a Lap sang souchon. The liquor (5 min steep) is more red than brown. The flavor is mild, with the smokey after taste that stays on the tongue. Pleasant, and aromatic. A good choice for any time of day.

The leaves are small and tightly twisted/rolled and give off quite a smokey aroma, which dissapates as the tea brews. It does so even more in the taste, which is fairly light, smooth, creamy and just a wee bit smokey. There are hints of cocoa and roasted vegetables.
