Loose-Leaf, Organic Pai Mu Tan, White Peony from Wegmans
This photo shows loose-leaf organic certified bai mu dan (white peony) white tea, which I purchased from Wegmans supermarket. This tea was very inexpensive and quite good quality.
The leaf has a fair number of downy buds or tips in the mix; you can clearly see them as the fuzzy, silvery-white pieces, many of which are twisted. The larger leaves are still quite light green in color, reflecting a low level of oxidation. There are a few darker leaves in the mix, although most are dark green, only slightly brown.
