Loose-leaf English Breakfast (Tightly Rolled Black Tea) From MajaTei
This black tea has the unusual characteristic of being tightly-rolled into little orbs or spherical shapes, a little like gunpowder green tea or Anxi oolongs. This was a singular feature among English Breakfast blends; although I have encountered some other black teas with this shape, I have never found one labeled or sold as "English Breakfast".
The flavor and quality were also pleasantly singular among English Breakfast teas. A little on the subdued side, and infuses slowly because the tightly-rolled leaf needs time to unfurl and release its flavor, but quite good; I recommend reading my review. This was my favorite tea I tried from MajaTei.
