Tea Plantation in Idukki district, Kerala
A bright yellow-green photo shows a massive tea plantation spread across rolling hlls in Idukki district of Kerala. Ths district is not known for tea production; we don't even have a page for it, only the general state of Kerala.
There are a few scattered trees in with the tea plants; nearly all of them have very sparse growth. A denser grove of trees can be found at the crest of a hill on the left of the photo.
If you look closely you'll see that the tea bushes are not planted in neat rows, but rather, in patches of relatively uniform shape, but with relatively irregular borders.
