Loose-leaf White Peony Tea, Bai Mu Dan, from Boulder Tea Company

This loose-leaf white peony (bai mu dan) tea is somewhat intermediate in levels of oxidation, color, and leaf size, among Chinese white teas. It contains abundant tips, the silvery buds pictured here, covered in downy white hairs, but it also has leaves, still young leaves, but showing a larger size and a darker color, here mostly bright green but a few with an olive color.
