After sugar and milk, lemon is one of the most common ingredients used to add to black tea. Usually, it is added by taking a slice of lemon, like pictured here, and squeezing it into the tea, or even placing the whole lemon slice in the cup. However, there are also blends in which the lemon flavoring is added to tea bags or loose-leaf tea ahead of time.
