Prepared Lemongrass Stems, Ready for Use in Food
This photo shows two prepared lemongrass stems, cleaned and cut, ready for use in food or as an herbal tea. Large pieces like this could be thrown into a stew or pot to make soup stock and boiled or simmered for an extended period of time, and then removed, much like a bay leaf, or they could be cut into smaller pieces and steeped as an herbal tea.
