Loose-leaf Bancha (Japanese Green Tea)
This photo shows a high-quality example of loose-leaf bancha. The large leaf size of this tea is immediately evident in this picture, and unlike many examples of this style of tea, the leaves are almost entirely intact or unbroken.
Just like sencha, bancha has a wide range of quality, and this looks like one of the better examples of this style of green tea.
