In my experience, Wegmans stores are all pretty much the same, so I'm not sure how much good it will do to review individual stores, but this location will always have a special place in my heart because it was the first Wegmans I set foot in and the first place I discovered just how amazing this company's tea selection is!
My ex-girlfriend, who lived near this store briefly, had been raving about how amazing Wegmans was, and I was eager to check it out. I liked the store as a whole, but the rest of the store didn't wow me as much as the tea selection did.
Tea, wow...just so amazing, row after row of bins, sealed metal tins, full of high-quality tea, self-serve, very reasonably priced. And the best part is that the price is the same regardless of how much you weigh out! It's perfect for sampling teas.
I filled up a ton of samples, and reviewed them all. If you go read my oldest 9 Wegmans tea reviews, back from 2011, those are all teas I bought at this store!
I highly recommend checking this place out and buying some tea, if you're a serious drinker and you want to buy high-quality loose-leaf tea at a reasonable price!
You may wonder why, if I'm so excited about this store, I don't give it 5 stars. The main reason is location...like many of the Wegmans locations, it's super car-oriented and located in a nightmare of suburban sprawl. I'm not into that. But I'm be willing to grit my teeth and bear the ugly drive through suburbia to come to Wegmans now and then. I just wish Wegmans could do something to make their amazing teas available to people who live in more urban areas, I have lived in a bunch of places and I never end up living near a Wegmans because they always end up opening up in the sorts of sparsely-populated, car-oriented "exurb" communities that I choose to live pretty far from.
