A very small cafe that serves and sells loose-leaf tea and a very small selection of light food.

This place is aptly named...it's a quirky little hole-in-the-wall that serves freshly brewed loose-leaf tea. The selection of tea is decent, but the selection of food more sparse, so don't depend on this place for grabbing a meal, and it's a tiny place, with only a few small tables and a tiny bar near the counter, so don't even count on there being seating available in the cold weather (although in my experience it hasn't usually been super crowded when I've come by). In warm weather there is a beautiful and rather sizeable patio in back.

The atmosphere is cozy but oddly busy and cramped (perhaps I'm just not a city person? many places in Philly feel cramped to me)...lots of rich visual textures, wooden surfaces, comfy cushions. There's an adorable little window seat. Something about the positioning or flow of the space though makes it hard for me to fully relax here...the surroundings feel a bit cramped and depending on where I sit, I often feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of breakable things...it's a bit of a weird vibe.

Overall I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're ever in the neighborhood for any reason. It's a great place to meet a friend to chat during the middle of the day.
