About Latvia

Latvia is a small country in Northern Europe, one of the three Baltic states. It is bordered to the east by Russia.

With a temperate seasonal climate, Latvia is far too cold to grow tea, but it does produce certain herbs used as herbal teas. The tea culture in Latvia has been influenced by both Eastern and Western tea cultures interacting with local traditions of brewing locally-grown herbs.
