Classic spiced chai flavor, but the aroma is mostly of spice without much rooibos. Similar to a masala chai made out of a lighter black tea. Aroma is dominantly of clove, with some cinnamon too. I would appreciate more cardamom presence as well as a stronger presence of the rooibos used as the base. The spice absolutely overwhelms the rooibos.

Flavor is a little sharp, probably from the clove, but it's more of a zing and less of a straight-up bitterness. Brewing this straight, with no milk and sugar, there's only a little bit of sweetness and sourness. Fairly flavorful, with a balanced flavor.

Very full-bodied.

Above-average among Trader Joe's offerings, which I find tend to disappoint me fairly consistently, especially in comparison to their other brand-name food products.
