Review of Red Rooibos Tea suffused with Sceletium Tortuosum

Surprisingly smooth; this blend definitely has a flavor and aroma distinctly different from straight rooibos, but because both the rooibos and sceletium have a mostly earthy character, it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins.
The aroma is very earthy and warming, and the flavor is exceptionally smooth. I agree with the commercial description: although it's a heavy, deeper tea, it almost has a silky smooth texture. Pleasingly full-bodied without being overwhelming.
Since I only had a single tea bag it's really hard for me to assess whether or not this tea had a positive impact on my mood or general feeling. I definitely was in a good and relaxed mood after drinking this tea. However, I was in good company and on my way to a blues dance in Philadelphia, both of which are reasons enough for me to be feeling happy and in harmony with the world.
I'd be curious to try more of this to test out whether it's actually having much of an effect, but it's not super high on my priority list. The aroma was fine, but this blend is not something I'd seek out on my own or drink just for how it tastes.
