When I first tried this tea, I was quite young, and hated it. I can only assume that my young palate had not grown accustomed to strong black teas, because now I find it much more agreeable.
The flavor and aroma are both fairly good, much better than the English Breakfast tea. Definitely malty, and it takes very well to a small amount of cream and sugar. One of Twining's best black teas I think.
