Taste resembles brewed field grass: very crude, plain, and left my stomach cramping for whole day.

I still enjoyed this tea, but I did think it was my least favorite of the Taiwanese oolongs that I've sampled from TeaVivre so far, and I can see how others might object to it more than I did. In my case though it didn't strike me as crude so much as just bland, and rather soapy.

I was much more a fan of the Li Shan and the two Dong Dings that I recently reviewed. They were stronger-flavored and more complex overall, and I thought they had fewer objectionable qualities.

I probably used too hot water on it and brewed it too long, not realizing it's a green tea, and waiting for a darker color.
