20, staple free, tea bags are in individually wrapped, foil, easy-tear, bags, that are inside a bag with a red, ribbon closure and an illustration of sliced blood oranges. The packaging was charming, and the idea of trying a blood oranges in black tea exciting.
The caffeine in this cup feels powerful for an 8 oz. It's a wonderful tea for drinking cold, since it's smooth, sweet, and rich. Characteristics I always swoon over.
I pair this tea with chocolate desserts, almonds, and dried cranberries. For me, this tea is well suited for all year around, especially with scones, muffins, and sorbet, which on the packaging includes directions for making this blend of tea into a frozen dessert!
