I'm not sure if this product was discontinued or unavailable during a certain time of the year. I made my purchase in October 2013, rearing up for apple cider, pumpkin pie, and spooky nights.
Quite a disappointment. It lacks the spicy, seasonal flavor I was hoping it would embody. It's not a very acidic tea, nor bitter. It's fool proof whether you boil the water or just warm up an 8 oz cup in the microwave for 2 minutes. The flavor doesn't change.
I like a tea that can pair well with a snack or a meal. This one, let me down. The flavoring so faint, barely can define what is in this tea. I can only taste cinnamon and the slightest bit of clove. No apple! No tang or bite that I come to love about apple cider. This tea is sweet, so that's its only likeness.
Finally, the caffeine in this tea isn't robust. My caffeine tolerance is hard to break, I expect to "feel" the energy charging up in me after 3-4 cups of 8 oz coffee or tea over the course of 2 hours. I don't make my coffee weak, nor my espresso, nor my loose leaf. As a trained Barista, I know my water:coffee or water:tea ratio is correct.
