I like the scent of this tea, both in the tea bag and from the tea itself. Without any sweetener added (my preferred method), the taste was a bit too tanniny, I think. The flavor wasn't exactly bitter, but it wasn't particularly pleasant.
When I added a small bit of sugar to the second steep, this notably improved the tea. I wish that the tea had more of the grassy scent and flavor that the tea bag does, though. On the plus side, you do get 30 tea bags for your money, so if you like this tea it's quite affordable.
Update: I would also add that the tea in these bags appear to be fannings - they form a thick cake of tea once steeped.
Update 2: I keep trying this one hoping I'll like it better, but last time I did I liked it less. Given that it's affordable organic tea, I wish this wasn't the case. How unfortunate.

I've only tried the loose-leaf version of this, and it was some time ago, so it was clearly a different batch. It was very interesting, but I didn't enjoy it as much as most green teas...it seemed a little weak.

Yeah, I could see that. I really wish they mentioned which style of green tea it is in this and a number of other teas. I seem to have specific likes and dislikes based on type but haven't been able to pin down the details yet. *sigh*
