Wow, this tea is amazing! Definitely the best Orange Pekoe grade tea I've ever tried...and competes with the best of the best, things with those long labels like TGFOP and FTGFOP and the like.
Dry leaf, dark, wiry, and nondescript looking, has a mild aroma very different from most black teas, with toasty qualities, suggesting caramel, fruit, and a hint of smoke.
Brews up a very smooth cup...exceptionally smooth, with one of the most pleasing, subtle flavors of any tea. Aroma has a hint of muscatel grape, like Darjeelings, but is deeper, with smoky notes, dried fruit, caramel, toast, and a hint of wintergreen. Reminds me a lot of the Royal Tajiri Tea sold by Royal Tea of Kenya. When brewed more mildly, using a short steeping and less leaf, I get vegetal notes, flowers, and honey.
Flavor is naturally sweet, with low sourness and only a hint of bitterness. Just enough astringency to impart a pleasant body.
Brews multiple infusions gracefully, one of the best black teas in this regard.
Truly exceptional. And the price is a steal. I'm completely blown away, to see the low price and that this is only marked as OP = orange pekoe grade. And it's organic certified too!

I would love to try this, but it looks like the shipping cost to non-EU countries is pretty steep!
