As with all tea bags I've tried from Republic of Tea, I recommend a short steep with this one. Less than a minute works fine. You get plenty of flavor, no bitterness, and a serviceable (though weaker) second cup.
This seemed to be a high quality Earl Grey, but that style of tea isn't my favorite. The tea was definitely stronger in flavor than the bergamot. For people who love a solid black tea, this is no doubt great. For me, adding milk, lemon juice, or both improved this cup a lot. Yes, when both are added some curdled milk sinks to the bottom. But I like the combination of creaminess, tartness, and bold tea flavor.
In short, solid quality tea, but not the flavor for me. :-)
