I have always been a fan of mint, but regular peppermint can sometimes be a bit strong. Spearmint, on the other hand, has a very smooth and even flavor.
This spearmint from The Tea Lab is great. The value is outstanding, currently being only 2.50 an ounce, and the quality seems to be just as good as anywhere else. I love the aroma of the tea as it is brewing and afterwards while I'm sipping it. It is smooth and fresh while still having a strong mint smell. The taste, as I said before, is definitely minty, but also very smooth. It is not harsh at all.
I enjoy this tea in the evenings or all day during the summer when I make pitchers of iced tea with it. It is one of my favorite iced teas.
