Smooth and really well-balanced...the aromas of fruit, rooibos, and vanilla blend well; it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. A warming tea. Rich aroma but mellow flavor...no bitterness and a surprisingly clean aftertaste.
I was able to make two infusions (3 min. and 5 min.) with a small 8-oz cup, although I think it would be stretching it to brew a larger cup more than once. The second infusion was weaker overall but surprisingly balanced, retaining the same character as the first cup.
I'm impressed with this blend. A lot of fruit and vanilla rooibos blends are poorly executed and have an artificial taste but this one really works well. My only complaint is the price...it's so expensive ($1+/cup if you buy the pyramid infusers, and over 40 cents/cup loose) that I don't see why I would buy this over any of the outstanding loose teas available from any number of other companies in a similar price range.
