Not a big fan of the pomegranate fad, I decided to try this tea anyway, given its promising-looking roster of ingredients: hibiscus, rose hips, orange peel, lemon peel, natural pomegranate flavor, licorice, blackberry leaves, and ginseng. That should deliver a good load of fruitiness, and it did!

Though well-sealed in its single-wrapper packaging, the aroma of the tea in-bag is almost nonexistent, but please don't let this feeble first impression deter your headlong charge into consumption. Upon pouring, a rich and dark color immediately flows throughout the cup -- a peculiar hue that looks like a blend between deep maroon and slate gray. The poured, steaming brew has more aroma than the dry bag, but not much. If scent equaled taste, this would be one of the weakest, most worthless teas known to all of humanity. But fortunately, such isn't the case...

Upon drinking, I was stunned by how juicy and intense the fruit flavor was, without excessive tartness. Dare I declare: this was among the top few fruit herbals I've ever tried in terms of smooth, sweet, pleasant, strong flavor. This should make a superb summertime iced tea also. I got the 20-bag box in a German-food grocery next to DFW Airport. As of this writing, a quick online search shows that this blend is available for online ordering in the U.S. via Amazon, Sears (!) and even Wal Mart.
