This is one of the weakest decaf greens that I've tried. It brews up with a darker color than even many caffeinated teas, but the flavor and aroma remind me of dry hay. It tastes and smells slightly vegetal, but is nondescript and uninteresting.
I'm actually surprised that this tea is so bad. Twinings isn't exactly top shelf, but it's generally at least respectable for grocery store tea and some of the varieties are quite good. The main selling point of Twinings is decent tea at grocery store prices. Since there are other mass market decaf greens that actually taste like tea, I see no point in buying Twinings.
