This was my first attempt at a tea made mostly from rose hips. It brews up a deep purple/maroon color that gets dark fast, and has a mild fruity (more than rosy) aroma, both dry in-bag and wet in-cup. Fair warning: watch for structurally weak bags. Of my first 4 bags, 3 split open somewhere while I was pouring the tea, releasing some granules of the contents into the surrounding water. Alas, I doubt the tea-bag architect for this brand will be reading my review, but you never know. :-)
Perhaps the flavor will grow on me as I swallow more tea steeped from these bags (and sometimes the contents of said bags), but my first impression is rather middling: neither outstanding nor awful. Instead this tea had a decidedly fruity taste, somewhat like a fruit punch but with an astringent and floral component that, in combination, seems just a bit weird. I don't know if that's because rose-hip tea *should* taste that way, or because of this particular formulation of it.
