Het Gouden Randje offers sweet high tea arrangements for groups of four to eight people, so I invited some friends along on my birthday. You get served three rounds, each with two kinds of tea and something sweet to eat (such as cookies, cake, parfaits...) You'll get to taste several different kinds of tea from very fancy teaware. They were all flavoured blends: We got two fruit teas, a flavoured white tea, an extremely citrusy black tea, a flavoured rooibos and some sweet herbal tea. In the end, everyone gets 50 g of the tea they liked best. I'm usually not such a fan of flavoured teas, but this is the one I liked best.
(Since I don't know the price that this tea sells at, the value rating is just a guess, but usually Het Gouden Randje's teas have good value.)

This is called a white tea, but the blend also includes two green teas and lots of different fruits. It's extremely aromatic. I have to be careful to store it away from my other teas, and once when I'd left a tea filter full of used Königin von Saba tea lying around for a few hours, the entire room smelled like pineapple and strawberries.
When brewed according to instructions, it's not overly sweet. I can actually taste that there are tea leaves in it, too. There are just so many ingredients (from "aroma" and rose petals to pieces of lemon peel and candied pineapple to entire cherries and rose hips) that I can't have some of each in a single teaspoon, and especially not in the right proportions, so I'm not sure how representative each cup is of the whole. I know tea leaves absorb aromas very well, though, so that helps.

Anyway, I don't know much about flavoured teas but this one doesn't seem bad. I just wouldn't buy any myself.
