Aroma fresh and grassy, with a hint of toastiness and a faint suggestion of mint. Very delicate flavor: I'd call this one slightly brisk but not bitter. Remarkably full-bodied given the lightness of the flavor. The astringency builds somewhat upon drinking it but even by the end it's still enjoyable.

This tea is marketed as being good for multiple infusions: it holds up better using more leaf and briefer infusions, but even brewing in a mug for 3 minutes, you get a second very rich cup out of it. I'm satisfied!

Be careful about the brewing temperature: this one is quite sensitive to temperature and if the water edges up over 180 even slightly, it acquires an unpleasant overcooked vegetable quality.

I'm pleased with the quality of this tea. Even though I strongly prefer loose tea, I think Foojoy's teabags are the best of best when it comes to the cheap end of the market. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer loose teas of considerable quality!

This tea is very inexpensive (4 oz. for under $10) relative to its endurance under multiple brewings. I'm eager to try more of Foojoy's loose offerings.
