The flavor of this tea is quite mild, but pleasant. There's a nice bitterness on the sides of the tongue and just enough astringency to feel a bit "fuzzy". There's a hint of cabbage or broccoli flavor with a hint of spiciness. This tea's a bit sweeter than other green teas.
I'm tasting this tea alongside several other green teas at the moment, including Bigelow's Classic Green. The Steep is definitely much better. Even when competing with other grocery store green teas, though, this one isn't really a top performer. Celestial Seasonings and Stash are both in the same price range and both are much better.
