This tea brews a deep purplish red color...aroma is strong and artificial...suggestive of maraschino cherries, not like a real cherry. The brewed cup seems like it has a significant amount of hibiscus, both from the color and the sourness--this tea isn't quite as sour as Celestial seasonings' zingers or Tazo's passion, but it's still too sour for me. There's a hint of cinnamon in the aroma, but thankfully, that element is not overdone.
Bottom line though? I did not like this one and will probably not have it again. While I think Twinings is able to competently produce herbal teas (their chamomile is good!), I am solidly convinced that Twinings' entire "Herbal Revive" series is to be avoided at all costs.
