Tropical fruit flavors are always a favorite, so (long overdue) I got some of this tea to try. My favorite mango-flavored black tea still is Hawaiian Islands Tea Company's "Mango Maui", but this comes in at a close second, and for now, is more readily available*.

Dry-bag aroma was more tea than mango. It's hard to tell what kind of tea, however, given there's enough flavoring (natural flavors, blackberry leaves, hibiscus, calendula petals) to cover up any aromatic hints of origin to me. Packaging doesn't say, and TJ's doesn't have a web page for this tea at this time. The mango aroma and flavoring show far stronger in the cup itself, and dominate the tea heavily. Still, it tastes nice to this mango lover, and makes one of the better summertime iced teas I've had. The latter may be this tea's best use! A breezy shaded patio or porch, cicadas buzzing, birds chirping, and some mango iced tea going down the gullet, is a combination hard to beat. Wet-bag aroma also is more strongly mango-heavy than dry-bag.

* A few availability/packaging notes: I've seen this tea in assorted TJs stores for several years, and like mango as a flavor, but for unknown reasons, haven't bought any until recently. Although I've seen some speculation online to the effect this tea has been discontinued, I bought some in-person at a Tucson store within the last couple weeks (July 2021). The packaging has been changed to insert "FLAVORED: between "MANGO" and "BLACK" as part of a redesign, done since the photo that webmaster Alex Z took of a TJ's store in Delaware (Mango Black Tea is shown at lower middle in that shot).
