Rosehip and hibiscus teas, by themselves, don't excite me much, because they tend to be on the sour side. I'm not a big fan of sour teas. Still, as those go, this one's among the most flavorful and naturally colorful I've had. It also has one of the stronger dry-bag aromas—more rosy than fruity, and transitions to a sweet-and-sour fruity aroma and flavor in-cup. The aftertaste also tends to linger at the back of the mouth, rather sourly, for a long time; this is not too different than other such teas I've had either. If you really like rosehip+hibiscus blends a lot, add 20 points to my rating, because it's probably as good as you'll find of that genre.
The brew turns a deep, bromine-red color within 3–4 minutes, darker than other rosehip/hibiscus teas I've had, and looking very much like a stout rooibos tea. Of course, it tastes nothing like a rooibos tea! So if you want to play a pretty effective practical joke on a rooibos-loving friend and pour a clear or white cup of this instead, just to see the reaction, it may work as long as your friend doesn't sniff too intently before chugging. Then you may not have that friend anymore. ;-)
