The aroma, for me, reminds me of menthol. Think 'Vics vapo rub'. The medicine like aroma is unusual. The aroma is present in the liquor. The liquor (5 min steep) is a very dark brown, bordering on black. The taste is good, with a slight sweet after taste (peach, maybe). While not disappointing, it would not be my first choice for a sipping tea.
