Here's a blend of spearmint, peppermint and "field mint" (presumably wild mint), with a nice but unremarkable dry-bag aroma. The flavor was pleasant, smooth, and mild overall...too mild. As I've noted here before, I prefer the sharp, strong hit of a potent peppermint tea to all other mint teas; "potent" this was not, by any means.
The post-steeping wet bag brought out the peppermint most, which is good for breathing in moist-minty air. However, in my tea world, the most notable and enjoyable part of the experience shouldn't be breathing through the wet bag. It was if whatever peppermint there is, played hide and seek until that stage. That's like the hiding kid at the park emerging from up a tree and proudly proclaiming, "Here I am!"...to the sound of crickets, after the game is over, and all his friends have gone home, except one kid playing on a distant swingset.
The aftertaste got unpleasantly bitter rather quickly, just a minute or two. I noticed this on a few occasions and days, at different times of day, after eating different foods (or not eating at all recently). So you can't blame my consuming greasy old burritos with the stuff, or failing to brush my teeth lately.
